Account data: email address, password (stored as a hash, never in clear text), language, sign-up date and last access.

Financial data you enter: accounts and their balances, budget lines, month-by-month movements, loans, savings and investments, cost books and the files you upload (spreadsheets or statements), with the concepts as they come from the bank.

What you write to us in "Something's off?", with the screen you were on and any image you choose to attach.

Technical records: server errors (technical message and route, never the content of what you sent) and open sessions (an encrypted identifier and the browser type, so you can see your connected devices and close them).

To provide the service: compute your budget and your forecast, store what you enter and show it to you when you come back. To maintain the application: fix errors and reply to what you tell us. And for nothing else: no advertising, no profiling, no sale or transfer of data to third parties.

The legal basis is the performance of the service you request when creating the account (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, for technical records, the legitimate interest in keeping the application secure and running (art. 6.1.f).

You. Nobody else enters your account.

The service administrator sees how many, not what. The administration panel counts users, spaces and movements, shows server errors and reads what you write in "Something's off?". It shows nobody's amounts, concepts, accounts or balances: it is not built to. If your specific case ever needed a look to help you, you would be the one exporting your data and sending it to us.

Nobody outside. There is no connection to banks, no analytics service, no external error service. The only provider with technical access to the infrastructure is the server hosting (IONOS, in the European Union), which does not access the application's data.

Email (verification, password recovery, replies to your messages) goes out through the owner's mail server with the bare minimum: your address and the message content.

Budget uses a single cookie, the session one (myb_budget_session), essential to keep you signed in from one screen to the next; it expires after 30 days or when you press "Sign out". Plus a language preference (NEXT_LOCALE) if you switch language with the selector. Neither is used to track you nor shared with anyone, which is why there is no cookie banner. The browser may also keep small local conveniences (the last account you used when recording from your phone) that never leave your device.

As long as you keep the account. If you delete it, everything of yours is deleted at that moment — spaces, budget, movements, uploads, loans, investments, books, messages — and the account itself; no copy remains in the application. Server backups are kept for a limited time and overwritten. Expired sessions are removed automatically.

Access and portability: in "My account" → "Export all my data" you download a ZIP with one CSV file per table, everything of yours exactly as stored.

Rectification: everything you enter is edited from the application itself.

Erasure: in "My account" → "Delete my account", with email confirmation. It is immediate and irreversible.

Objection, restriction and any other question: by writing to info@myourb.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Budget is meant for adults. Children may appear as household "people" to whom an expense is attributed, with no account of their own and no contact data.

If this policy changes, it will be announced in the application before it applies and the date above will be updated. What will never change without asking you is the essential part: your data is yours and nobody else reads it.
